Follow Linked Work and Its History
A job, its Colabs, estimates, and bills can be linked so your crew can follow the whole piece of work. Open the linked record from the job, customer, bill, or conversation. Their shared history shows changes to the work alongside the conversations and payments you are allowed to see.
Link Work You Already Made
Use the job's Colab link or Attach to Job on a Colab to join existing records. Linking keeps their existing numbers. Creating a new job from a lead is a different action. See Attach a Colab to a Job You Already Made.
Use Related work to review the connected records. Where offered, Separate removes a link and Undo reverses a related-work change. Read the confirmation, especially when real jobs or bills are involved.
Read the History
History brings together job changes, estimates, bills, payments, and Colab events. It helps you see what changed and when without opening each record separately. Your role still controls financial and customer details; linking a conversation does not grant extra permissions.
Follow Photos and Files
Use the job and Colab file areas to review evidence for the work. The bill's Attachments panel is a separate place to check what is attached to the customer-facing bill. If an edit or upload control is unavailable, check the job status and your permissions before changing the work.
