Workiz is field service software sold across every trade and every size, from a growing team up to a franchise. It publishes no prices, and a phone line and the AI that answers after hours are add-ons on top of the tier. KeyBolt publishes both of its prices and includes both of those.
What KeyBolt costs
KeyBolt is $99 a month for Basic (up to 5 team members) and $189 for KeyBolt Pro (up to 10). Both are month to month, both include a 14-day free trial that charges you nothing until it ends, and neither charges per extra user inside those limits. On Pro, voice and SMS are billed directly by Telnyx at carrier rates with no markup from KeyBolt, which runs a typical small shop $80 to $130 a month on top.
What Workiz publishes
- Workiz does not publish prices. Its pricing page lists Standard, Pro, and Ultimate, and every one of them ends in a "Request pricing" button. The page carries nine of them.
- The page states who each tier is for rather than what it costs: Standard for growing teams, Pro for a mid size team, Ultimate for a multi-location larger team and franchise.
- Automations are capped by tier, and the page does say those numbers: 5 on Standard, 10 on Pro, 30 on Ultimate.
- Genius Phone, Genius Answering, and Genius Marketing are add-ons listed separately from the tiers, with no published prices.

So which one?
Pick KeyBolt if
A locksmith shop that wants the price on the page, the phone line and the after-hours answering inside that price, and key codes stored as key codes rather than as a custom field it has to build.
Pick Workiz if
A multi-location or franchise operation, or a shop that wants one vendor across several trades and does not mind requesting a quote to find out what that costs.
Questions.
- What does Workiz cost?
- They do not publish it. All three tiers end in a Request pricing button. Ask for the tier price, whether it is charged per user, and what Genius Phone and Genius Answering add, then compare that total against KeyBolt Pro at $189 with both already in it.
- Does Workiz handle key codes and bitting?
- Not as a dedicated field. Its Standard tier lists custom fields, which you could shape into one, but you would be building and maintaining it yourself and it would not be encrypted the way a key code should be.
- Does Workiz come with a phone line?
- Not in the tiers. Genius Phone is a separate add-on and Genius Answering is another one for the after-hours AI, and neither price is published. On KeyBolt Pro your own business number and the AI receptionist are both in the $189.
- What about automations?
- Workiz counts them and caps them by tier, at 5, 10, and 30. KeyBolt does not meter them: late fees, recurring bills, auto-replies and appointment reminders run as often as your work does.
