Jobs and dispatch · Basic and KeyBolt Pro

From the phone ringing to a tech on the way.

A lockout does not wait while you find a pen. KeyBolt turns a call into a dispatched job on one screen, then keeps the status current so you know what is done without ringing your techs.

How it works

  1. 1

Make the job in one screen

Emergency lockouts get a single quick-dispatch flow: who, where, what kind. Job templates fill in the usual pricing so you are not typing the same rekey twice.

  2. 2

Send it to the right tech

Assign it, or reassign it when something changes. A push tells the tech it is theirs. More than one tech can be on the same job.

  3. 3

Watch it move without calling anyone

Every job card advances with a tap. Open the map to see the day colour-coded by status, filtered by tech, status, or job type.

  4. 4

    Plan the driving

KeyBolt builds the fastest multi-stop route from wherever the tech starts, then hands it to Google or Apple Maps for turn-by-turn.

  • Multi-stop route planning from any tech’s start location
  • Open turn-by-turn in Google or Apple Maps
  • Job Workspace with Details, Finance, and Timeline in one place
  • Assignable tasks, parts used, photos, and the signature on the job itself

What it looks like on a real day.

Three lockouts at once.

They come in inside ten minutes. You make all three in under a minute each, send the closest tech to each one, and the map shows you who is where without a single phone call.

The tech who cannot find the door.

Commercial building, four entrances. The job carries the address, the notes, and the photos from the customer, so the tech goes to the right one.

Friday afternoon, six stops.

Instead of guessing the order, KeyBolt routes them from the tech’s current location and opens the directions on their phone.

Questions.

How fast can I actually dispatch a lockout?
The quick-dispatch flow is one screen: customer, address, job type, tech. With a template for the job type, most shops are done in under 30 seconds.
Can two techs work the same job?
Yes. Assign as many as you need. Each one sees the job on their phone, and the money side stays locked to the tech you assigned it to.
Does it show where my vans are right now?
No. The map shows a pin for each job, geocoded from its address, not a live vehicle position. There is no GPS tracking of your techs.
Does my tech need to be online?
No. The phone app keeps working with no signal. Your tech can open the job, add photos and notes, and it syncs when they get bars back.
Which plan is this on?
Both. Jobs and dispatch are included on Basic at $99 a month and on KeyBolt Pro at $189.
