What Is a Price List?

A price list holds the lines and prices for a service you sell, like "Commercial Lockout". Pick it under Service when you create a job and its lines go on the bill. Price lists used to be called job templates.

Job Types Hold the Length

How long a job usually takes belongs to its job type, like Residential Locksmith or Auto Locksmith, not to the price list. Set it in Settings > Job lists. On the web, when you pick a job type and a start time, the end time follows that usual length.

Viewing Your Price Lists

Go to Settings > Price lists. Each one shows its name, how many lines it has, and its total. You can still change the price on any single job or bill.

Editing a Price List

1. Tap the pencil next to it.
2. Change the name or the line items. There is no price box: the price is the total of the lines.
3. Turn Active off to hide it from new jobs. Jobs that already have its lines keep them.
4. Tap Save. Changes apply to future jobs only.

Adding a New Price List

1. Tap Add price list at the top of the Price lists card.
2. Enter a name that clearly describes the service.
3. Add line items. For example, a "Master Key System" price list might have "Master key system consultation" at $150, "Per lock rekeyed to master" at $35, and "Master keys (set of 3)" at $25.
4. Tap Add price list.

Reordering

Price lists appear in the job form in the order you set. Use the up and down arrows on the Settings page. Put your most common services at the top.
