Find a Job, Bill, Customer, or Old Conversation

Use the page's search to find work by its customer, address, name, or number. On a computer, Command-K on Mac or Ctrl-K on Windows opens the shop-wide search for records, pages, settings, and help.

Find a Bill or Job

Search Invoices by invoice number or job name. Search Jobs by the work's name or number and the customer's details. A job name can be a PO number, WO number, property name, or short description, so use the name your office will recognize.

Find the Conversation Behind the Work

In the Inbox, enter the Colab number or the linked job or bill number. A linked job can have a different number from the Colab that holds its conversation. You can also search by the customer's details or the linked job's name. Rows show the linked work and bill amount when your role can see that money.

For an archived conversation, open Archived and run the search there. On the website, type the search and press Enter or use the search button to search beyond the folders already loaded. Open a matching customer folder to find its Colabs. See Archive a Colab Instead of Closing It.

Check Filters and Access

If you cannot find something, check the selected tab, date range, status, and customer folder. Your role and the shop's privacy settings still control which records and amounts search can show. Search does not give you access to another tech's private work.

Jump Between Linked Records

Once you find one piece, use its linked job, customer, bill, estimate, or Colab to follow the rest. See Follow Linked Work and Its History.
