The Eight Steps

After you confirm your email, KeyBolt walks you through eight short screens.

1. Shop Info (required), your business name, phone, and full address. This is what prints on your invoices, so get it right.
2. Your Services (required), the jobs you sell and what you charge. KeyBolt starts you off with six common ones at standard prices. Change the prices to yours.
3. Tax Rate, your default sales tax rate.
4. Payments, connect Stripe so customers can pay a bill by card.
5. Preferences, which events email you.
6. Invite Team, up to five email addresses.
7. Start Trial (required), pick your plan and enter a card.
8. All Set.

Steps 3 through 6 have a Skip button. Anything you skip you can set up later in Settings.

Picking Your Plan

The Start Trial step asks you to choose Basic at $99/month or KeyBolt Pro at $189/month. Both come with 14 days free. Once you pick, a secure Stripe page opens and asks for a card.

You are not charged during the 14 days. Cancel before day 14 and you pay nothing. You can switch between Basic and Pro at any time afterwards from Settings > Subscription. See Change Your Plan or Update Your Card.

If You Get Interrupted

Close the tab and come back later. Sign in again and KeyBolt puts you back on the setup screens. Anything you already saved is still there, so you can click through the early steps quickly.

What You Get When It Is Done

• Six job templates with your prices on them, ready to dispatch from.
• A dashboard with today's schedule, revenue, and outstanding invoices.
• An empty customer list waiting for your first entry.
