Sign Up for KeyBolt

Getting started with KeyBolt takes less than two minutes. Head to keybolt.tech/signup in your phone or desktop browser and fill in the following:

1. Full name, first and last. This is how you'll appear on invoices and job assignments.
2. Shop name, the business name your customers know you by (e.g., "Ace Lock & Key").
3. Phone number, your primary business line. This is used for SMS notifications and can be displayed on invoices.
4. Email, used for login and for receiving payment notifications.
5. Confirm email, type it again. Pasting is turned off here on purpose, so a typo cannot lock you out of your own account.
6. Password, at least 8 characters. Use something unique you don't reuse on other sites.
7. Finish the short security check, then tick the box to agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Tap Create Account and check your email inbox for a verification link. Click the link and KeyBolt walks you through a short setup: shop info, the services you sell, your tax rate, payments, preferences, inviting your crew, and picking your plan. Shop info and services are required. The rest you can skip and set up later. See Finish Setting Up Your Shop.

Your 14-Day Free Trial

Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial with full access to every feature. You pick your plan and enter a card at the end of setup, and nothing is charged until the 14 days are up. You can add customers, create jobs, send invoices, and manage your whole operation before deciding if KeyBolt is right for your shop. Cancel anytime during the trial and you won't be charged.

You pick your plan during setup: Basic at $99/month (jobs, dispatch, customers, invoices, the Colab unified inbox, branded inbound email, and the in-app AI helper) or KeyBolt Pro at $189/month (adds your own shop phone line, browser softphone, two-way SMS, the AI receptionist, and the LSA performance dashboard). A blue bar across the top of the dashboard counts down the days left in your trial, with an Upgrade button that opens Settings > Subscription. You can switch between the two plans there at any time. If the trial runs out with no payment, KeyBolt locks the dashboard until you subscribe. Your data is safe and nothing is ever deleted. See Change Your Plan or Update Your Card.

What Happens After Signup

Once your email is verified, KeyBolt automatically sets up your shop with:

• Six default job templates (Residential Lockout, Car Lockout, Commercial Lockout, Rekey Locks, Lock Installation, Key Duplication) with standard pricing.
• Your dashboard with today's schedule, revenue tracking, and outstanding invoices.
• A customer list ready for your first entry.

You're the owner of your organization. Later you can invite team members and assign one of six roles (Manager, Dispatcher, Tech, Bookkeeper, Front Desk, Viewer) from the Team page in the left menu. See the Manage Your Team guide for what each role can do.
